Our Origin Story

In 1986, celebrated concert promoter Phil Lobel traded tour buses for press rooms and launched Lobeline Communications with one clear mandate: make entertainment impossible to ignore. His artist-first philosophy and outsized Rolodex quickly turned the boutique shop into a Hollywood mainstay, championing everyone from arena tours to Oscar campaigns.

Phil’s flair for spectacle and reputation for thinking three steps ahead of the news cycle earned Billboard’s “College Talent Buyer of the Year” and cemented Lobeline as the agency that could fill seats and front pages in a single stroke.
Legacy in action: to this day, Phil remains Chairman-Emeritus, advising on marquee launches and mentoring the next wave of storytellers.
