The Mad Hatter’s (Gin &) Tea Party recently opened shop at Underground Atlanta. It’s a 90-minute experience that includes colorful cocktails, characters from the famous tale, great hats and a teatime unlike any you’ve had before.

The world seems to have realized that there are pervasive problems in many traditional Disney movies. Countless articles have been written about the issues, from Ariel giving up her voice for a man, to a nonconsensual kiss being life-saving. Countless times I’ve heard a parent say they’re forbidding their daughter from watching princess movies. But The Little Mermaid Cocktail Experience, running now through March 6 over in Union Market, has taken note, and done something about it.

As with many other large events, the White Party Palm Springs became another victim of the closure mandates in response to the corona virus. Following a two-year pause on the event, COVID restrictions have been loosened and the event is ready to come back bigger and better in the Desert, promises Chris Diamond, the new CEO for the production company White Party Global (WPG), announcing that the next WPPS will be held April 29 – May 1 at the Hilton Hotel and the Palm Springs Convention Center.

The White Party in Palm Springs is an annual multi-day music festival and the largest gay circuit party in the U.S. The event typically brings more than 30,000 to California’s desert resort city every year for a series of pool parties during the day and epic dance parties at night.
