You may not immediately recognise her name – but Angela Martini is more famous than you realise. She represented Albania in the Miss Universe competition, dated Kanye West before Kim, appeared in Keeping Up With The Kardashians and is also BFFs with Craig David. So when we heard she’s written a book, we got her on the blower to discuss. It turns out this author, 32, is more than just a pretty face.

Former Miss Universe Albania turned author, Angela Martini Shows Support at Red Songbird Foundation Launch

Angela Martini showed her support for the Red Songbird Foundation Launch earlier last week at the Beverly Hilton hotel in Los Angeles. Martini, who is a former Miss Universe Albania and ELITE model turned author of her newest book, Ambassador of the Light, showed up in a sizzling red power suit ensemble by Tom Ford. A perfect combination for a night of a good cause.

The Red Songbird Foundation was born out of Hilary Roberts’ own experience of needing trauma treatment as an adult, after six years of sobriety, and not being able to afford it. Hilary was given the opportunity to have half of her $30,000 treatment paid for by a foundation that heard her story and wanted to help.

It is Hilary’s wish and the wish of the Board at The Red Songbird Foundation that people heal from the darkness of their past, are able to love themselves, can engage in healthy relationships and know that there is light at the end of the tunnel. The Red Songbird Foundation wants to help one person at a time to be healed and whole, perhaps for the first time in that individual’s life.
