The new Los Angeles-based company creates whimsical bubble displays for live events, concerts, and festivals, including Coachella and Good Morning America’s concert series.

The hilarious world of UMPO (Unauthorized Musical Parody Of) gets turned “Upside Down” as they tackle Netflix’s cult phenomenon, “Stranger Things” — just in time for the Halloween season! The American fiction-horror series — created, written, and directed by the Duffer Brothers, gets the UMPO treatment by writer/executive producer, Kate Pazakis and director, Nathan Moore.

Los Angeles celebrated its first Indigenous Peoples Day on Monday. Los Angeles Times: “The daylong festivities, which were slated to include performances by the Black Eyed Peas and Native American rock group Redbone, included a sunrise ceremony, a 5K run, and a Native American powwow. Addressing a few hundred people from the stage at the foot of City Hall, [City councilman Mitch] O’Farrell said Los Angeles is the largest city to adopt Indigenous Peoples Day in place of Columbus Day.” https://lat.ms/2ypbsfJ

The Santee Passage food hall is slated to open in a 20,000-square-foot Fashion District space early next year. Eater Los Angeles: “Perhaps most interesting to the project so far is the talent behind it, including two particular names: Joseph Shuldiner and Kevin West. They’re the ones largely responsible for the complete overhaul at Grand Central Market, bringing in varied vendors and winning awards along the way. Those two will be responsible for leasing at the new Santee Passage property, and lease negotiations are reportedly underway already.”

A massive sea of bubbles took to the sky above Hollywood for ABC’s ‘Jimmy Kimmel Live!,’ Concert Series October 2, 2018, as Bubbleworks created a one of a kind bubble spectacle for the show’s outdoor stage and musical guest Kacey Musgraves.
Musgraves performed ‘Love Is A Wild Thing’ while a dream?like whirlwind of bubbles danced onstage and around the band. At the song’s crescendo, bubbles filled over the audience and floated down a full city block in a breathtaking bubble finale.
