NERDBOT: Crumble Catering To Head Meals for Elton John’s AIDS Foundation

HOLLYWOOD, CA – As the official caterers for the Elton John AIDS Foundation Academy Awards Viewing Party for the 15 the year, Chef Wayne Elias will create an unparalleled five-course dining experience at West Hollywood Park on Sunday, February 24, 2019.

This one-thousand-meal massive undertaking will be seamlessly executed in three hours by a team of over 150 Crumble Catering staffers tasked with serving Hollywood’s biggest A-listers.

As in the past, this sumptuous five-course dinner will be served on-site with mammoth digital screens broadcasting the Oscar telecast live, while fund-raising activities happen during commercial-breaks. West Hollywood Park is literally transformed into fantasy city-within-a-city, with a sprawling array of custom-built connecting pavilions featuring sparkling custom one-night-only décor, state of the art lighting, projection, and displays. The army of 150 servers and bartenders are supplemented by a kitchen staff of 70 to make the split-second timing and execution for the night simply flawless.

With six weeks to go before Hollywood’s biggest night, Sir Elton John and David Furnish are close to finalizing the program for the Elton John AIDS Foundation’s 27th annual Academy Awards viewing party.

EJAF has recruited rockers The Killers to perform at the event, for which IMDb will serve as this year’s presenting sponsor. As part of the sponsorship arrangement, the website for the first time will broadcast its annual “IMDb Live” streaming show. The four-hour show will be co-hosted by Aisha Tyler and Dave Karger. EJAF’s viewing party will take place during the Academy Awards on Sunday, Feb. 24, and is once again being held at West Hollywood Park.
