With Halloween being right around the corner. People are highly anticipating to watch spooky and frightful tales whether they are from their favorite movies like ‘Saw’, ‘Halloween’, ‘Night of the Living Dead’, and ‘Friday the 13th’ — among other horror films.

Yet others prefer more lighthearted stories about ghosts, witches, vampires and/or monsters. In a tribute to one of the most popular cult-classic films, Rockwell Table & Stage presents a musical parody of Disney’s 1993 movie Hocus Pocus that starred Bette Midler as Winifred Sanderson, Sarah Jessica Parker as Sarah Sanderson, and Kathy Najimy as Mary Sanderson.

Just in time for Halloween, The Unauthorized Musical Parody of Hocus Pocus is back at Rockwell Table & Stage. Part of producer Kate Pazakis’s hit Unauthorized Musical Parody Of (UMPO) series, Hocus Pocus is back this year after a successful run in 2016. Written by Pazakis and John Flynn and directed by Peter Allen Vogt, the 1993 cult favorite Disney film is brought to life by a talented cast with tons of laughs and memorable pop hits. Performed throughout the unique space at Rockwell Table & Stage as the audience enjoys food and cocktails, creating a lighthearted mix of dinner theater and cabaret, the UMPO musicals are a guaranteed good time for seasoned and casual theater fans alike.
