standard.co.uk – Publicists, Podcasters and Reputation Managers Explain How Celebrities Craft the Perfect Apology

Phil Lobel has represented Brad Pitt, Aaron Carter, Lisa Vanderpump and more with his firm Lobeline.

He does media training with clients to avoid missteps and tells them to “speak in sound-bites and have your talking points clear in your head in advance,” especially if it’s a live interview.

He says apologies need to be “heartfelt and sincere,” adding that “with the media being omnipresent, it naturally presents celebrities with so many more avenues for a misstep.”

Lobel says: “I still think an apology is a better approach than issuing a denial that it was said. Social media has long legs and denying reality only seems to work when you’re President of the United States – and even then – perhaps only as far as the next election.

thehypemagazine.com – Blending Hip Hop, Rap and Pop with Ghostluvme

Today, this rapper and self-taught producer has released projects that defy the norms of traditional rap, hip-hop and pop structures, mastering the mix of sound combined with lyrical structure and flow to deliver music that can only be classified as his own. Ghostluvme’s music allows his audience to play a participatory role in the experience of listening and consumption, through interpretation.

The Hype Magazine got him to weigh in on a few things!

From the outside looking in, who is the artist Ghostluvme?

I hope when people think of me as an artiste, they’d see a great lyricist and musician.  They’d think, “ye, he can carry a tune.”

What brought you to the entertainment industry, music specifically?

I’ve played instruments my whole life – if you’re good at music, then you’re going to make music.  For me, it’s like there’s no other option.  I was playing instruments and making music before I even realized there was an ‘industry’ that was I was going to fit into.

What do you want people to get from your music?

When people hear my music I’d want them to feel good, to feel entertained, to feel like it’s their escape.  Imagine one day, years from now, you’re on a road trip and want to pull up that one feel good song because in that moment that’s the vibe you’re feeling.  I, hope my song is that one song you’d want to hear in that moment because you want a feel-good vibe.

cnet.com – The Best Hair Dryers in 2020

Besides the fact that it looks (and sounds) super cool, this dryer delivers when it comes to hair styling and function. There are four heat settings and three speeds. The high heat and speed setting will likely dry your hair faster than anything you’ve tried before — it’s worth the splurge if you have hair that takes forever to dry (like mine) and use a hair dryer every day. This could be a real game-changer for your morning routine.

Dyson claims that the dryer can prevent damage since it contains technology that controls overheating the hair. It’s also celebrity-stylist approved. “My favorite hair dryer is the Dyson dryer because it gives just the right amount of heat with the least amount of damage,” Justin Anderson, celebrity hair stylist and co-founder of DPHue, tells CNET.

Forbes.com – The New ‘Interim Economy:’ How Employment Has Dramatically Shifted

In a never-in-our-lifetime milestone, the number of Americans who have filed for unemployment surpassed the 40 million mark with 1 in 4 workers now becoming jobless over the last two months. And Director of the National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases Dr. Anthony Fauci has recently shared that a second wave of the coronavirus outbreak in the U.S. could happen.

To learn more about this shift in our workplaces and the new manner in which millions of people will work, I was excited to catch up with Joe Mullings about his thoughts on what he calls the “Interim Economy.”

mixmag.asia – THE FLUFFY CLOUD REFORMS AUDIENCE INTERACTION TO THE LIVE MUSIC EXPERIENCE

The Fluffy Cloud —‚We love the name, the concept and the story of inception behind the world’s first 360° immersive and interconnected installation that encompasses sound, light and art.

People have been so accustomed to a certain and overly formal order of enjoyment and immersing in entertainment that we’ve forgotten that there should be a sense of community and interaction amongst the audience, and not just a connection the artist. This is the foundation of The Fluffy Cloud — an attempt at breaking the norm on audience formation and interaction. The founder of the creation is Jorge Perdomo, an avid electronic music lover and frequent-festival-traveler — his primary vision is to bring back the “magic of the interconnected circular community-space has been lost.”
