Lisa Vanderpump on Vanderpump Rules and What Makes a Great Reality TV Star

Lisa Vanderpump, Los Angeles Entertainment PR Firm Lobeline Communications esteemed client, shares her work with Vanderpump Dog Foundation and dishes on new season of Vanderpump Rules in Time:

Lisa Vanderpump is feeling charitable. The longtime Real Housewives of Beverly Hillsstar and the grand dame of its spin-off, Vanderpump Rules, is best known to many reality TV fans for her decadent lifestyle and arch one-liners. But recently, she’s been devoting most of her available free time to her philanthropic efforts—particularly her animal rights advocacy. “It’s really important to me,” she says, “my fight against Yulin.

She’s referring to the annual festival in Guangxi, China, in which festivalgoers eat dog meat; Vanderpump has been a vocal critic of the event, drawing attention to it with rallies and making frequent television appearances to denounce the subject. The day before her first gala to benefit her Vanderpump Dog Foundation, she’s invited me to her Beverly Hills home for tea.”

Lisa Vanderpump’s Plight to End Animal Cruelty & Her Upcoming LA Gala

Top entertainment public relations firm Lobeline Communication’s client Lisa Vanderpump was interviewed by Paul Zahn of LA Confidential Magazine:

“Restaurateur and reality star Lisa Vanderpump is on a mission to end animal cruelty with her new charity, Vanderpump Dogs. The television star took time to share details about her upcoming gala with us and also dished on her favorite LA hot spot.

Tell me about your new charity, Vanderpump Dogs.

LISA VANDERPUMP: Our task to end the dog meat trade might be insurmountable. The last eighteen months we have succeeded in shining a light on the barbarianism that is known as the Yulin Festival. We have organized rallies, printed T-shirts, and been encouraging other countries to protest. We produced a PSA with Sharon Osbourne. We have been pleading to eradicate this heinous event where dogs are tortured to celebrate the summer solstice. Diane Warren gave us a song. I was at Lady Gaga’s birthday and Diane is a friend of mine. I asked if she could give us a song. Leona Lewis sang it, and we coupled that with Yulin images and released the song. My partner in life Ken, my partner in business Jon Pfeffer, and I produced a documentary to inspire others to support our mission and also educate people.”

Lisa Vanderpump is set on helping the world, one dog at a time.

The Vanderpump Rules star and devoted dog-lover recently sat down with E! News’ Carissa Culiner to discuss her latest business venture, The Vanderpump Dog Foundation, and shared why she feels so strongly about animal rights activism.

“When we started Vanderpump Pets I thought, I’d really love to go into the pet business,” Lisa explained. “But until recently I was naive about the atrocities that are being done against these wonderful creatures.[And it was] through [Vanderpump Pets] that my attention was drawn to some of those new atrocities.”

From there, the restaurateur and Real Housewife created the idea of starting her own foundation to help abandoned animals, and The Vanderpump Dog Foundation was born.”

Dr. Paul DePompo on Huffington Post – Donald Trump and Narcissism

Reflections on a “Narcissist” – Why a Trump Presidency scares the Bejesus out of this Psychologist

It’s no wonder the country is obsessed with the 2016 Presidential election. All of our basic Maslow-esque needs are in jeopardy. We need jobs, water, energy, and national security. We require a leader that can cross party lines and racial lines, but not someone whose main purpose is to self-aggrandize.

Some narcissism in a leader can be charming, but when it’s “HUGE,” we end up being the ones drowning in their reflection through their eventual aggression, big risk taking and unwillingness to compromise. These three main factors suggest how Trump’s mind works in my opinion, and how this may color his presidential decisions. As a psychologist, I’m afraid – VERY afraid.

Lisa Vanderpump ‘Reality TV Tour de Force’ on the Cover of Adweek

| Oct 10, 2016

Lisa Vanderpump isn’t what you’d call a typical housewife. More obvious descriptors would include businesswoman, style icon, activist and, of course, reality TV tour de force. But thanks to Bravo, it’s the title of housewife—or rather, Housewife—that’s made Vanderpump a brand name and national celebrity.

A decade has passed since America was introduced to the Housewife, capital “H.” Unlike the lowercase version, the Housewife wasn’t your average, stay-at-home mom—or even necessarily a wife—but a wealthy, sometimes nipped-and-tucked and often outburst-prone woman of a certain age who had agreed to let cameras invade her daily life.
